High Carbon Brake Discs

High Carbon Brake Discs

Thanks to the unique chemical composition of Quaro High Carbon brake discs, our parts have higher carbon content and additional elements.

This affects their physical properties, such as improved hardness and better heat transfer. Superior heat transfer means that High Carbon discs dissipate heat faster during braking. Moreover, thanks to higher production standards and variable material density, the discs ensure lower vibration and are much quieter.

01

Enhanced Durability

The higher carbon content in the cast iron of High-Carbon discs makes the material more resistant to loading and higher temperatures.

02

Optimum Reaction

Thanks to the unique chemical composition and high production standards, High Carbon discs exhibit minimal deformations during braking.

03

More Even Heat Distribution

Better heat transfer protects brake system components from overheating and improves braking stability even in extreme conditions.

04

Better Thermal Resistance

High Carbon discs are more resistant to high temperatures, which means improved safety and service life of the brake system.

FAQ

High Carbon discs are made of a different cast iron alloy with elements that improve their parameters. High Carbon discs are more ductile, temperature resistant, better dissipate heat, and have a different carbon content compared to the traditional product.

QUARO HIGH CARBON discs are coated with a black corrosion inhibitor paint. The corrosion inhibitor prevents the rusting of parts of the discs that are not worn by brake pads.

QUARO HIGH CARBON discs are available for the front and rear axles.

QUARO SILVER CERAMIC pads are the perfect choice when installing QUARO HIGH CARBON discs. These friction parts have matching characteristics. A very well-matched friction coefficient guarantees the shortest braking distance, even in extreme conditions.
