AUTO PARTNER S.A. implements appropriate measures to ensure the security of the User’s personal data.

BASIC CONCEPTS:

User – any natural person using the quaro.eu service or services available through the Service;

Personal data is any information about a natural person identified or identifiable through one or more specific factors determining the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity, including image, voice recording, contact details, location data, information contained in correspondence, information collected through recording equipment or other similar technology.

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

SCOPE OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Using the website – data collected by the website and mobile devices

In relation to Users visiting the website, data sent by the User’s browser is collected solely for information purposes, i.e. such data that is technically necessary to display the website and ensure its stable and secure operation.

In the above case, data may also be collected for the development and improvement of the website and its adaptation to the needs of Users. This may be data concerning determining how many Users visited the website, how they found it and what issues or products they were interested in.

The collected data may include, among others: IP address, parameters of the software and hardware used by the User, pages viewed, mobile device identification number and other data concerning devices and use of systems.

AUTO PARTNER S.A. uses cookies to provide services, adapt the website to individual user preferences and for statistical and advertising purposes. This mechanism can be disabled in the browser settings. Using the website without changing the browser settings means consent to saving cookies in the device’s memory.

AUTO PARTNER S.A. collects personal data related to conducting current recruitment processes, as well as transferring data to the database for future recruitment – based on the appropriate consents of the data subjects. Subscription to the newsletter and marketing materials

AUTO PARTNER S.A. processes the personal data of Users for the purposes of sending the newsletter and/or other marketing materials regarding products and services offered by AUTO PARTNER S.A. as well as by entities cooperating with AUTO PARTNER S.A., as well as performing direct marketing activities by “using automated calling systems directed to telecommunications devices, including in particular telephones or computers, of which I am the end user. The User may at any time resign from receiving the newsletter, e.g. by providing relevant information via the contact form, or by clicking the appropriate link in the content of the newsletter message.

Competitions and promotional campaigns

In the event that AUTO PARTNER S.A. organizes a competition or promotional campaign, AUTO PARTNER S.A. will process the personal data of Users who take part in a given promotional campaign or competition in accordance with the provisions of applicable law and only for purposes related to the implementation of a given promotion or competition.

LEGAL BASIS

The data referred to above are processed on the basis of:

  • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR – the data subject has consented to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
  • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the GDPR – processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or to take action at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract;
  • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c) of the GDPR – processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation incumbent on the administrator – in particular the obligations arising from the Personal Income Tax Act of 26 July 1991 and the Corporate Income Tax Act of 15 February 1992;
  • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) GDPR – processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except for situations in which the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, requiring protection of personal data, override those interests, in particular when the data subject is a child – the right of AUTO PARTNER S.A. to pursue or defend claims or ensure the security of information, persons or property, as well as striving to improve the quality of the products offered and services provided, should be considered a legitimate interest.

RIGHTS OF PERSONS WHOSE DATA CONCERN

AUTO PARTNER S.A. informs that in cases where processing is based on the User’s consent, providing personal data is voluntary. The User has the right to refuse to provide data, however, this may result in the inability to use certain functionalities of the site.

The User has the right to withdraw previously expressed consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that was carried out before its withdrawal.

Users of the quaro.eu website also have the right to:

  • access their data and receive a copy of it,
  • correct (amend) their personal data,
  • file a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that your personal data is being processed in a manner inconsistent with the provisions on personal data protection.

Under the terms set out in the GDPR or other provisions on the protection of personal data and in the cases specified by these provisions, the User will also have the right to:

  • restriction of the processing of personal data,
  • deletion of personal data,
  • transfer of personal data.

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

  • entities belonging to the capital group to which AUTO PARTNER S.A. belongs, as part of activities related to the business conducted by AUTO PARTNER S.A. and solely in connection with the implementation of the purposes specified above, as well as on the basis of an appropriate agreement;
  • bodies or entities authorized under the provisions of law;
  • entities to which data is made available on the basis of concluded agreements concerning the business conducted by AUTO PARTNER S.A., to which AUTO PARTNER commissions the performance of activities related to the need to process data (processing entities), e.g.: companies providing IT services, IT system operators, payment system operators, law firms, auditing companies;
  • courier companies and companies providing transport and postal services that will deliver the ordered parcels to you;
  • bodies or entities to which data will be made available on the basis of the consent of the data subject.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING PERIOD

Your personal data will be processed in the following periods:

  • data processed on the basis of consent: until the consent is withdrawn. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.
  • data processed in connection with a contract to which you or your employer or principal are a party: for the entire duration of the specific contract, and after its termination for the period necessary to perform all obligations resulting from the contract, as well as for the period in which claims related to the contract may be revealed, resulting from the provisions of the Civil Code, tax law, or other legal regulations, or, if it is justified, until you file an objection to our processing of personal data;
  • data processed on the basis of a legally justified obligation incumbent on AUTO PARTNER S.A.: in the periods indicated by the relevant provisions of law – adequately to the given legal obligation. In the case of cookies – the data is stored until the cookie file expires or is deleted by the User.
  • data processed for the purpose of implementing the legally justified interest of AUTO PARTNER S.A.: for the period necessary to implement the given interest.

COOKIE FILES

AUTO PARTNER S.A. informs that when using the Service, short information is saved on the User’s end device, in particular text files called “cookies”. “Cookies” files contain such IT data as: the User’s IP address, the name of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the User’s end device, recording of device parameters and statistics and a unique number. “Cookies” files are directed to the Service server via the web browser installed on the User’s end device.

Cookies and similar technologies do not serve to identify the User and their identity is not determined on their basis. Cookies and similar technologies may constitute personal data only when combined with other unique identifiers or other information allowing for the identification of this natural person.

  • cookies used to monitor traffic on the website, i.e. data analytics – these are files used to analyze how the Service is used by the User, to create statistics and reports on the functioning of the Service.
  • cookies used to log in to the Service using social networking sites.

Cookies allow for maintaining the session, proper operation and display of the service, going back to previously viewed pages, as well as displaying: a map of the route, videos posted on YouTube and integrating the service with social media.

COOKIE FILE MANAGEMENT

Most browsers automatically store cookies on the User’s device. Users can also manage the storage of cookies themselves, for example by changing the settings of their browser or deleting stored cookies. The level of protection against Cookies is set in each browser, up to completely blocking Cookies. However, disabling/deleting cookies may result in some functions of our website not working as expected. Cookies may be necessary for the operation of some functions of the quaro.eu service.

Google Analytics is a statistics system that collects data about users visiting the website.

During the analysis of traffic on the website, Google Analytics collects, for example, data such as:

  • how the user reached the website (via a search engine, referral from another website, or directly by manually entering the website address in the browser)
  • where the user is physically located (country, city)
  • what software the user is using (operating system, browser, type of device)
  • how the user behaved on the website (how long they stayed on a specific subpage, how many subpages they visited)

TAG MANAGER

The quaro.eu service also uses Google Tag Manager. This tool does not collect personal data in itself, but it helps in placing and managing tags. Tags are small elements of code that are used, among other things, to measure User traffic and behavior, record the effects of online advertising, and conduct remarketing.

HOTJAR

Hotjar is a tool used to analyze user interest in individual elements of the website. It creates “click maps” and examines how engaged users are on the website (e.g. in terms of scrolling). Hotjar may also record User behavior.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

In order to update the information contained in the Privacy Policy and its compliance with applicable law, the Privacy Policy may be changed. In the event of a change in the content of the Privacy Policy, the date of its update indicated at the end of the document will be changed. AUTO PARTNER S.A. recommends that Users regularly read the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
